This year the HollyShorts red carpet was held just below the steps to the Dolby where the OSCAR’s are held each year, undoubtably the best spot to showcase the filmmaker’s and stars attending this premiere film festival’s opening night.

A whole host of beautiful stars were in attendance including Lisette Olivera who stars in Disney’s brand new National Treasure, actress and model Adrianne Palicki, EMMY and Golden Globe Winner Rob Morrow, OSCAR® winner Ben Proudfoot, “The Wire’s” Isiah Whitlock Jr. and many more.

Just some of this exciting night’s opening films included Sir Steve McQueen’s prostate cancer documentary “Embarrassed” which stars Idris Elba, Ben Proudfoot’s “Mink!” Rory Keenan’s “Bump” starring Gemma Arterton, Frank Chi’s “38 and the Garden” produced by OSCAR® winner Travon Free, Tara Westwood’s “Triggered” starring Isiah Whitlock Jr. and “Thoughts and Prayers” which all-star cast includes Adrianne Palicki and Zachary Levi.

Don’t miss out, the festival is on all week in Los Angeles and last year Riz Ahmed’s “The Long Goodbye” OSCAR®-qualified at the festival and went on to win an Academy Award so you could be watching next years OSCAR® winning film!
